The '99 Lytton Station is a good juicy wine. It is purple in color with a dense, fruity nose perhaps yielding a little "zinberry" but without the more complicated aromatics that a great zin can offer. The palate on this wine was relatively straight forward: sweet, juicy fruit buttressed by new oak. A good but not great zin. I will not be buying more but if you have it you may want to wait and it could improve.
