| Surprisingly subdued I suspect this wine is still evolving. This was my first experience with this "Blockbuster Shiraz." It did not have the "pie in the face" character that many other 98 Shiraz have which I consider a positive. I think it emulates a more classically made wine. It still has a lot of tannin to deal with but the fruit is there and is by no means unenjoyable. I think it will have a great future. Try again next year. |
