| 1996 Dennis Berthaut Clos des Entre Deux Velles - Fixin. My first experience with this producer. The nose was very outdoorsy and mature: Wet soil, mushrooms with some floral notes. On the palate it was medium-bodied and clearly ready to drink. It had sufficient fruit and structure to be enjoyed but felt like is was thinning out just a bit. This is not an expensive wine but shows nicely for a ‘96 Village level wine. Roberto (Cross-Posted.) |
