| Most likely the first time I've had this Pomerol, from any vintage. It has evolved nicely during Sunday dinner. It was tight and sharp at first-- and still is a bit so-- but it seems ripe and aromatic in the end. Some fading at the rim, surprisingly. A plummy color, it shows off some chocolate and coffee on the palate. I'm not sure how much better this wine is going to get. A solid effort, though. Rating: 90+ points. |
